Premiering in Melbourne on 21 May last year, Sunset has since seen some of our best crew step on and off board for different legs of the journey, with Nat Riordan and David Browne operating the Australian seasons and Chris Pratt and Owen Arnold taking over for the Asian cities. Luckily, one constant has been the lovely Sally Hitchcock who has been in charge of all things wireless throughout the tour lending her immense experience to managing the D6000 Sennheiser wireless system and star cast. Last weekend we said farewell to Sunset Boulevard’s Asia tour as it loaded out from Taipei’s beautiful National Theatre. The Asian tour saw our team through Singapore, Beijing, Shenzhen and Wuhan before landing in Taiwan. The lavish Australian production featured all original Australian designs including our very own David Greasley’s brilliant Sound Design - a masterclass both musical theatre sound and in the full utilisation of @meyersoundlabs @sennheiser @digicouk flagship speakers, microphones and mixing consoles.

8 years later and we’re back at the tabernacle with @bookofmormonaunz at the @capitoltheatresydney presented by @jonestheatrical . This is the second missionary tour for our two resident mormons @dgreasley Associate Sound Designer in 2017 & 2025 and @pratt66 who was Head of Department on the last Australian tour and now lends his invaluable experience as Production Sound Engineer.

Now playing at the Marina Bay Sands is the original Australian design of Sunset Boulevard. With a large break between the Melbourne and Asia Tour we’ve been blessed that our whole team has been able to reunite to wow Singapore.
