The Meyer Sound VLFC (Very Low Frequency Control Element) is a self-powered loudspeaker engineered to reproduce extremely low-frequency signals with high continuous levels and minimal distortion. Its operating frequency range of 13 Hz to 30 Hz extends below the typical 20 Hz limit, delivering subsonic frequencies that are more felt than heard, enhancing the visceral impact of audio experiences.

Key Features:

- Extended Low-Frequency Response: The VLFC's ability to reproduce frequencies as low as 13 Hz complements other subwoofers, such as Meyer Sound's 1100-LFC, by covering the lowest octaves and providing a more immersive audio experience.

- High Peak Power Output: Equipped with a two-channel Class AB/H bridged amplifier featuring complementary MOSFET output stages, the VLFC delivers ample continuous and peak power to its drivers, ensuring excellent transient reproduction at very low frequencies and extreme operating levels.

- Robust Construction: The cabinet is constructed from premium multi-ply birch and coated with a slightly textured black finish. A powder-coated, hex-stamped steel grille with acoustical black mesh protects the unit's drivers, ensuring durability and longevity.

- Flexible Integration: Sharing the same footprint as the 1100-LFC, the VLFC integrates seamlessly with existing infrastructure. Optional rigging kits allow for stacking or flying in regular and cardioid arrays, accommodating various installation requirements.

Applications:

The VLFC is ideal for applications that benefit from the impact of subsonic frequencies, including:

- Stadiums and arenas

- Cinema and post-production

- Theme parks

- Research facilities
